Carol “Gigi” Stanley Little (Founder & President)
A 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Business with her B.S. in finance, Carol spent the following 12 years in the investment and banking industries. A veteran of open-mic nights at Boston’s comedy clubs, Carol’s passion for humor has led her to the founding of this non-profit. She is a member of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH).
Liz MacAdie (Secretary)
A licensed counselor in private practice since 2001, Liz holds a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Previously, Liz worked for 16 years in a hospital setting before setting out on her own. She and her husband are raising a teenager (or as she likes to say, the teen is raising them) and she enjoys tennis, kayaking, hiking, skiing, gardening and meditating in her spare time.
Diane is Vice President of development at the Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration in Mystic, CT. A 25 year veteran of issue advocacy, government relations and politics spanning Washington D.C. and Connecticut, Diane has also worked diligently in the field of non-profit and political fundraising. An alumnus of George Washington National Law Center and Duke University, Diane also holds undergraduate degrees in both Economics and French. She volunteers her time with her children’s school and political candidates.
Paul T. Nowosadko
Paul is a partner in the Hartford, CT law firm of Cooney, Scully & Dowling where he practices law in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on professional malpractice defense. A 1979 graduate with distinction from Dartmouth College, Paul also graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1983. He is a member of the American, Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations, the CT Defense Lawyers Assoc., the CT Society for Healthcare Risk Management and the Dartmouth Lawyer’s Association. Paul is also a member of the finance council of his parish, a committee member of the Catholic Charities Archbishop Whelan Memorial Golf Tournament and is active in his town’s youth sports leagues.
